Since 1982
A continuing association with inside-painted glass ornaments gives the Li Bien name a clear and recognizable foundation.
Our Story
Li Bien is devoted to inside-painted glass ornaments—small worlds created within glass and presented with a quieter, more considered point of view.

The name within
Li Bien takes its name from the inside-painted tradition at the center of the collection. Each image is created through the narrow opening of a glass sphere, then viewed through the glass that protects it.
Since 1982, Li Bien has been associated with ornaments made through this distinctive approach. Today, the brand remains focused on carrying that tradition forward through seasonal editions, undated keepsakes, and selected custom work.

Inside-painted glass remains the center of the Li Bien collection, from annual editions to undated keepsakes.
Seasonal ornaments, gifting, retail partnerships, and selected custom work all begin with the same distinctive object.
Our focus
Li Bien remains dedicated to inside-painted ornaments. That focus keeps the collection, language, and experience clear across consumer, gifting, and retail paths.
From the same studio
Home fragrance and slower-living objects are developed under a separate name, allowing both brands to remain clear.
